Background

Alexander (Zander) Georges brings years of experience in full-stack development and user experience design to WebP2PNG. His journey in tech began at the University of Michigan's School of Information, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Information Science focused on UX Design.

After working as a Product Specialist at Ally Financial, where he was the sole product person on their most profitable service, Alexander co-founded Craftle, an AI-powered furniture shopping platform. The company was accepted into the prestigious Techstars accelerator program in 2023, where Alexander serves as CTO and leads all technical development. Craftle has grown to serve over 100,000 users.

His work on user experience has been recognized by major publications, including being featured in the Wall Street Journal for creating intuitive, user-friendly interfaces. Alexander's mission is to improve the lives of people at scale through technology.

Our Philosophy

WebP2PNG reflects Alexander's core beliefs about software development:

  • Privacy by design: Your images should never leave your device. All conversion happens in your browser.
  • Simplicity over complexity: Tools should be intuitive and require no learning curve.
  • Free and accessible: Useful tools should be available to everyone, forever.
  • Performance matters: Fast, efficient processing with no unnecessary waiting.
